The average response time to any point in the City is approximately 4 minutes. Fire Department personnel maintain professional Fire Fighter Certifications as well as Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certifications.
First Response Emergency Ambulance Service is provided by East Texas Medical Group. Emergency Air Ambulance Service is provided by AIR EVAC LIFETEAM Company with a Bell 206L helicopter based full time at Ennis Regional Medical Center.
